Post Tank on MM or not?
Hi everyone, I’m a noob to all this so sorry if this is in the wrong section. I have a really basic beginner question. I’m building a small sneakbox boat and plan to put a Thai type longtail with a Predator 6.5 HP motor on it. So my question is about the gas tank. Do you guys run something like this with the stock gas tank on the engine and just carry a gas can to refill it or do you remove the stock tank and add some sort of fuel pump and remote tank? Nobody out here runs anything like this so I don’t have any experience or anyone to reference. Thanks.

I'd just keep the stock tank and carry a little 1 our 2 gal gas can with you. That little motor will go a long long way on a little bit of gas.

I'm just gonna say this. I put a 12 gal tank in my boat for a 22hp motor. Taken the boat out 3 times and it's just a hair under the fuel neck. These engines don't take alot of fuel

It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face.
