 Trailer tire wear
Any ideas of the cause?
Bearings are good and the axle is square to the tongue.
Cheap tire?

 Re: Trailer tire wear
Cheap bias ply tire. Get a good set of radials.

 Re: Trailer tire wear
That looks pretty typical of an unbalanced trailer tire
It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face.

 Re: Trailer tire wear
Cheap bias tires would be my guess.
Most liberals seem to suffer from the same mental condition....it's called stupidity!

 Re: Trailer tire wear
I had the same exact tires (Carlisle) and they did the exact same thing. Get rid of them before they ruin your wheel bearings from vibration (been there done that). Get a good set of radial tires and have them balanced. Don't let anyone talk you out of balancing them. I balanced my radials and have well over 5 years with no issues whatsoever. Smooth ride and very little tire wear. I bought Kenda Loadstar radials and love them. Maxxis makes good trailer tires too, but a little pricey.

 Re: Trailer tire wear
I helped a guy this morning with his trailer. The tires looked alot like those, but worse. His axle was WAY OUT of alignment. We had to adjust one side forward almost 6 inches to get it square. Dude said he must have drug it from Lafayette to Little Chenier that way.

 Re: Trailer tire wear
Agree with the bias ply tires. All I've ever owned wore like crap. I put radials on mine and balanced them and they wear great.

 Re: Trailer tire wear
Will be getting a new radial tire on it this week. Already have a new one on the other side and it seems to be wearing fine.
Thanks

 Re: Trailer tire wear
My old trailer tires did the exact same thing. Went to Discount and got a good pair. No problems, and a lot more miles than the original.
