Guys just got my new mudmotor mounted. Hooking up the fuel lines tomorrow . Was hoping to place the gas tank towards the front of the boat. Will the fuel tank on a 23 godevil have enough pull to draw fuel from 13 ish feet away |

Shouldn't be a problem. Just make sure all your connections are tight. You may want to make the connection at the tank direct (dont use a disconnect) to ensure you dont pull air thru the line. I have a yamaha disconnect and lose prime after the rig sets for a few days. My tank is up front on a 16 foot boat. My motor is old and has no problem drawing fuel to it. Forgot to open the vent once and almost collapsed the tank. You may want to install a water trap as well. Mount it at the back between the tank and motor. Preferably one with a see thru cup so you can tell if its collecting water. And dont forget a good primer bulb. |

Thanks for the suggestion about connecting stuff directly ... Finishing rigging of the boat over the next few days |

I pull 14' with my 23 and the stock pump, no issues whatsoever. I have direct connections at the tank and motor. 1744 Phowler Prowler, 23 Dixie |
