Pardon the never ending list of light bar threads, just wanted to see if anybody had any experience with this light and knew it to be junk before I threw a few bucks away just to find that out for myself  looks to be a half decent light.

Looks to be a decent light. If not it's only 40$ can always get a better light and stick that one on the four wheeler, truck grill, golf cart ect

If it doesn't work out I'll put it in the kids room for a night light

I swear, I've never seen so many bright lights in the early mornings around here. Y'all are obviously afraid of the dark.

In my opinion, these should be outlawed to run while in the river. I hate these light bars running the river at night down here, they blind the hell out of me. I agree that they work great in tight bayous and other areas, but I have been on the other side of the light too many times and am blinded. I run all running lights at night and use a seal beam sparingly, actually I try not to put it on too many times as it messes up my night vision and it takes a minute or two to get it back.

Opinions are like assholes....

If it's pitch black, cloudy, foggy, etc. I'm going to watch where I'm going, and see what I can see. If the moon is out an I can see, I don't run a light either..... Is that ok with you? why does everyone feel the need to inject their irrelevant BS.

This is why I wired my switch to my tiller handle. I can kill it quick without fumbling for the switch on the panel and not be a dick by blinding oncoming boats. Also can flip it on and off as I prefer to run without it as much as I can.

Lights never bothered me ! If I can't see I slow down and get to the side. Not the end of the world. Usually the other boater shits his off after they see me.

Know this is kinda simple but in addition to the lights I added a 12v spotlight that plugs into the DC outlet on my switch panel... Cuts through the fog really well and helps to scan for obstructions...

I'd like to add a good bright halogen to my grab bar or even a hand-held light. They seem to cut the fog and mist much better in the dark than pretty much any LED. I've literally driven my boat for the past couple years with a rechargeable Streamlight stinger LED  worked fine with the slow longtail, but it gets sketchy covering a bit more water nowadays.

I used to run with no lights till I ramped my boat out of the water off an oyster reef last year lol. Never again !!!

I use the 1x6 low pro version of those lights and I long for more light. I can see but not quite good enough for my liking. One of my lights already lost 2 leds, if you get it I hope you have better luck than I did with the low pros

It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face.

I'm thinking about a new light solution. I want to use a light bar but I can't put it in the center of my bow, there's gonna be a trolling motor on it during the summer. I might try the kc style 2x3 square led lights

Got it this morning, wired it up to the battery and it seems pretty bright. I plan on hooking it up tonight to see what the beam pattern looks like. Hard to really get an idea in broad daylight  I'll shine it thru the woods behind the house, that'll give me a better idea. Looks decently well made. I like that the mounts will slide from one side to the other on the bottom. I'll loc-tite the little Allen head set screws, should do fine.

Look up Lamin-X films. I run with the yellow tint on my bow fishing rig. Cuts through fog like nobody's biz. I use rigids Amber pod covers when using my light box. Same concept. 6k light color reflects off rain and fog badly.
