 Gtr trim help
So the trim on my new motor has decided to start acting a fool at 34hrs. When triming either way it sounds and acts like its low on fluid. I pulled the trim off checked the fluid and went straight to the battery and it runs fine up or down. Well this made me think it was the switch so I just replaced the switch and it is still doing the same BS. I pulled the trim again and double checked the fluid and went back straight to the battery and its fine. I see that it is a Parker unit and I have a Parker store 40 miles from the house but I wanted to get yalls take and see if I may be missing something before I make the drive.
On a side note my motor is still under warrenty but I have to go threw my dealer 6.5hrs away since they bought the motor over a year ago. I bought the whole rig in July. And with our 2nd season opening up again next weekend I dont want my boat to be down.

 Re: Gtr trim help
Have you tried bleeding it ? I now it takes a few times to bleed out all the air. Might have a air leak I'm guessing but I'm not sure.

 Re: Gtr trim help
How do you bleed it? There is one allen bolt on the top and 2 plugs on the side. I was scared to pull the side plugs incase it had springs or anything that could come flying out at a high rate of speed. Haha.

 Re: Gtr trim help
Sorry I'm thinking of the throttle on a console unit. I think that trim unit is a sealed unit. Do you see it leaking at all ? Does it delay when you trim up or down before it decides to trim ? Only things I know that it could be is loosing fluid ( leak ) , or bad connection to the battery. I had both issues with my last trim unit.

 Re: Gtr trim help
I is like it stutters if that makes any scene. It trims very very slow either way. The trim is dry as a bone.

 Re: Gtr trim help
Could be bypassing with a load on it. Scratch on the ram from trash or a cut seal could do this. Call GT and talk with them they may send you a new one.

 Re: Gtr trim help
I agree with buster, I'd call gator tail because it could be a seal or the pump might be weak
