I got me a new boat and am trying to come up with a good set-up for the bow lights. The boat has a pointed front, wondering what everyone has come up with. Post some pics for me to get some ideas!

Thanks

I am looking for some too. I am having a hard time finding the lights with the black bezel. I have found plenty of chrome but not black.

Are you talking fogg lights or nav lights?

Here's the new Livorsi Marine nav's we put on all of our boats.

Livorsi has developed a navigation light
compact in size, with powerful lighting and
a sleek contemporary look. Now made of 316 stainless steel!

As you know, LED lights outlast and out shine regular incandescent bulbs. LED lights use up to 90% less energy; these Livorsi nav lights only consume 1/10th of an amp at 14 volts. This means a longer life and less rigging time switching out lights. These lights are to be used on any vessel
up to 65 feet and have a visibility of 2 nautical miles!

These lights are designed to be mounted on a vertical surface, to allow the light pattern to be unobstructed from view.

Measures 3 1/4"W x 1 3/4" H x 7/8" D
NMMA accepted
ABYC & USCG certified
Available for Port or Starboard
Made of 316 stainless steel

port LEDNLRSS $69
starboard LEDNLGSS $69

Too many different styles of lights, each mounting differently. I bought a set of docking lights from Academy and just bolted em thru the deck. I used to have some big arse offroad lights that were bright as hell, but too big and bulky. They mounted the same way. Pick your light first, then figure out how to make it work.

If you buy 55 watt lights to make up your bow lights you will soon be chucking the bulbs and replacing them with 100 watters.

I have the Mudbuddy twin 130 light kit and I have found it to be a good amount of light for my purposes.

Only way to roll!!!

Bow lights are a waste of money & weight.

Sure, they look cool as another really cool option but have no real function except going forward.

They shouldn't even call them "bow lights" they should call them "DOCK LIGHTS" about all they're good as most have said and pointed out!

Replaced with 100Ws and added a relay for wiring to switch.

I like being able to remove it or turn it around on a muddy road on the way out so the lenses dont get covered.

Here is the wiring diagram and tips for wiring:
