Thanks to Lou Tisch from Lock, Stock & Barrel & everyone else for the pointers on painting the Blackwaters.

Spent the last month re-painting (8) eight dozen puddlers & divers

Be honest if you have any thoughts!!!

The two on the right I left alone.

They're Blackwater/Rough Rider dekes made in Ohio.

$400.00 a dozen put I heard they're not going to make them anymore.

If you find them on the classifieds, $20.00 a piece is a really fair price.

The paints came from Lou Tisch of Lock, Stock & Barrell.

His FME paints are specially mixed for decoy applications.

You tell him what & how many you're painting & he recommends the quanities.

I repainted some of mine a few years back, and I enjoyed it. Mine are no where near as nice as those, though! My diver decoys mostly consist of beat up old carry-lites that have been shot, repaired, and painted with spray paint.
