Hey boys, Im currently deployed to the Persian Gulf right now but i get home in June. Ill be buying a new boat and my first MM. I just wanted to get some advice from you guys on here who know quite a bit more than i do. Right now im looking at an Excel 1754 swv4 with a .125 hull and a MB 4400hdr. Im stationed in NW Washington and have found myself in some spots where i wished i had a MM so im just gonna go ahead and get one. I just want to make sure that the one im thinking about is gonna be able to push the boat,3 guys, a dog and gear, and is a quality motor. Thanks for any input. |

If there are other options, I would look at a different mud boat than an excel. They'll do, but there are plenty of better options. They are not optimal boats to hang a mud motor on and get the best performance. And thank you for your service! |
