I'm thinking about getting a 1838 Gator Trax Rogue. I'm wondering about the transom angle. Some motor and boat combo's just don't work. Does this make a difference if you use a longtail? Eventualy I'd like to have a sd. I'll either have a 23GT or 23GD or a 27PD. Will any of these motors work on a gtrax boat, if not how can you overcome the angle to make a motor work. I'm realy leaning toward a 23 gd. also would PD put a 23 or 25 on one of their frames? Some what worried about hp restrictions.

PD can put a 25 Kohler if requested.

I think that 1838 Rogue would be perfect for my 23 MB Mini-Lite w/Stage 1.
I may have to order me one.

The transom angle has almost no effect upon the GDSD or GDLT - as the freefloating design finds it's own proper trim position....

In a rare bad mismatch of too steep an angle - a transom mount wedge might be required from GD for about 30.00 to allow the prop to raise up fully out of the water...
