| Post subject: | Boat for a 21 HP MB hyperdrive |
Since I cannot sell this motor, might as well get a boat for the motor and use it. I do not want to spend a whole lot of money on a boat since this will just be a backup or maybe a decoy hauling boat. I would like it to run in the mid to upper teens. Looking for a used boat, any suggestions on which brand I should look for? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, |

well i have a 24 mb hyper on a 1548 all welded alumacraft with me and another guy and fishing gear i ran 23mph. so i think you might be able to get little better speeds then what you are hoping for especially since you are using it as a back up and a decoy hauler you could go the cheaper route and get a rivited jon. decreased wight would increse speed and it would be less expensive. i know a lot of guys will frown on the rivited boat but i have seen others do it on these sites without problems and it seems like it might fit what you are doing. so i say get like a 1648 flat nose rivited jon |
