damn them lilies it tall and thick this year.
I had to pass thru about 1/4 mile or so of them today and they were dry and windblown. water was deep, thank goodness.
stopped me 4 or 5 times, had to backup and hit it with authority. they had some grass stuff growing it it that kept it all matted together. moved all the gear to the nose and got it to push through.

I run lilies all the time, these were real bad. the kind that when u stack them up the whole world is moving with the boat. lol

that 2:1 lower unit is a bad mfer compared to the 1.5 . motor doesn't load up as bad.

might have to flip the skiff and put some gatorglide or something like it on there.

I remember when pd didn't have reverse, it sucked when you get on top of the illies or floton and can't backup and clean them off. you HAD to chew threw them or pass on a log to slide them off the bottom of the boat.

Yup, we've got em so bad the deer run across them like a pasture here. That shit sucked back when I ran a long tail, I wasn't near as brave

Last year we had Sylvania really bad, but a lot of it washed out with the floods. Now the lollies are making a comeback quick fast and in a hurry. I don't know which one is worse.

I ran a lake last weekend that had mats on it like Mitchell is talking about. Probably the same place.

They can put you in a bad place real fast. I got stuck in em and luckily Mitchell was there to pull me out. I would have been there for hours I believe.

Been stuck a few times with dead lilies on mud. Takes a lot of time and gas to chew your way out, or wait for ya buddy. Pride has went out the window when you run that. Take a helping hand from whoever LOL.

I threw my wife in the river when she was 5 months pregnant over a wasp nest in a willow tree. Got my ass tore up! She was trying to climb back in and I said hang on, you don't want to come up here and get none of this shit. Hahaha
