Do any of yall keep any spare parts at your camp, just incase anything goes out and you want to get back up and running quick? or for when the revolution starts? Was thinking more along the lines of clutches, fuel pumps, belts, heads and such. If you do post up what ya got in stock and why |

Only plugs, filters and oil. Oh and plenty of zip ties and duck tape. As far as the revolution I gots plenty of bullets though. Funny you should mention that cause I was boat riding today and as I was going along I was imagining how when the revolution starts all them coots would make a good gumbo and the nutras would be mighty tasty smothered down in a nice brown gravy over rice. Man I gots plenty of nutras and seeing how they never stop having younguns its gonna be a staple food before we know it. I mean its gonna be nutra stew, nutra gumbo, nutra kabobs, smothered nutra, fried nutra, BBQ nutra, well you get the picture. Gas and bullets is what we need......... ![]() |

Well at this point I was thinking that when I get a chance to use the rig if something was to go out on me Friday afternoon I would not be able to get some parts from PD and my weekend would pretty much be shot. When your camp is 6 hours away from home and you make time to get out of Houston it sucks when some little bushing breaks and you can't use your toy. So for me its worth it to have something there like a spare clutch, a rebuilt lower unit or what ever. Does anyone keep any non-autozone parts around incase something like this happens? BTW, them rats are a motherforker to clean and shootersdepot.com can help you with a rat problem if you got some gun shy people around ![]() |

To much to go wrong to have the spare parts on hand for any of these things. A spare motor would save the day. Thats why I kept my Tohatsu. It might not get me in the deep chit but at least I'm still in the game in the PD craps out. |

just get a used 25/27 and keep it out at the camp. Not much more than all the crap you would have to keep on hand. or just buy some metal working tools and a few plates and bars and you can make anything you cant live without. |
