 After market starter
My 35 mudbuddy is having issues turning over fast enough to start. Still have a couple troubleshooting issues to check, but wanted to know if anyone has used aftermarket starters.
I found a couple on Amazon for under $100 and the Briggs replacement is over $200. I want something reliable but don't want to waste money if aftermarket is comparable.
Any help is appreciated.
Thank you.

 Re: After market starter
There are 2 briggs replacements. One is around 80, the other is over 200. They both work. I'll dig up the one I ordered and post it in a bit.

 Re: After market starter
I apparently bought an aftermarket this last time. It's holding up fine and I'm cranking 215+ psi on the cylinders.
DB electrical snd0529 off amazon.

 Re: After market starter
That was with both of the stock starters, cb. That I got from someone on here. That's a really nice guy. That "load tested" them. The one I linked above now has 25 hours without issue. More than 3 times what the other two had combined. [GRINNING FACE WITH SMILING EYES]

 Re: After market starter
I got the Amazon replacement in 2 Briggs Motors - both work fine even in sub-zero weather

 Re: After market starter
I second DB Electrical. I've had one for almost 7 years now with zero problems.
