Post hydraulic Trim and Tilt is slow
Hey guys,

Just curious if any of you have experienced this before, Im thinking it might be because its so cold out these past few days. I got a GT w/ hydraulic trim and the trim seems to be working at about half speed/power as it normally does. Does the cold weather make these pumps slow down some? My battery is fully charged just didnt know if you all thought there might be another issue.

Thanks

griz

Well me and my dad own a hydraulic repair and service shop. Cold will make any machine run slow. the oil gets thicker and is slower. it shouldnt take too long to warm up in a hydrostatic system like a dozer or other big time equipment with the hydrostatic pump pumping all the time. However in these trim units they run for short amounts of time, thus not allowing them to warm up. it shouldnt be a problem, just annoyin waitin for it. no real problem. ;)
