Anyone have an all black boat? I started to strip mine down today to get ready to sandblast and repaint....thinking about going all black but i was just wondering how hard it is to keep clean. I know black gets dirty easy but didn't know if it cleaned up easily

I know of 2 of them. They look good and no complaints about cleaning

After setting in sun, you won't be able to set on it very long.

Pete at WC customs is driving one now.

Or mostly black. It was at the mud run this weekend.

I know several people that run them. Hot in the summer and they show each and every scratch.

Will do. Hopefully it'll look like a whole new boat when im done with it. Pulled all the wires and fuel lines out yesterday, as well as look all lights and winch off. All thats left is get that floor crap out and get the motor off and she'll br ready to be blasted.

Sure you want to sandblast it? Thought someone on here did it before and it messed something up?

I guess I didn't notice this when I originally cut the foam out but i found this yesterday. Theres a rib on the edge of the boat where the water drains, so in order for the side gutters to drain the water has to stack up high enough to flow over the rib...and no there is any room behind it for it to flow the foam goes all the way down that far. I have a Black boat.

I hate it. I am actually dropping a couple G's on it this week to have it vinyl wrapped.

Mine looked nice 1 time, and that was before I put it on the water. Now the paint is hazy, every speck of mud, and tiny scratch shows like a sore thumb.

I'm sure a guy could spend a couple hours cleaning after every trip, but I don't have time for that.
