How in the world are guys with brand new GTR rigs getting 27 mph but we've got guys with 25hp Kohler longtails claiming 25 mph. Must be running that high octane fuel. |

Both are smoking that high octane crack... I believe zero speeds posted here unless I personally know the individual, and even then I question how much they had been drinking ![]() |

My 18x60 rig has done nothing but impress me since I did my mods. With only an exhaust I topped at a little over 27 unloaded and it was a slug out of the hole. Now with the cam, heads, carb, exhaust, and worked prop that SOB is a beast. Loaded with 2 coolers (@70 pounds) and 5 people (@750 pounds), I was able to jump on plane quick and run over 32mph.
