lesson here is to never forget to take out your drain plugs before a big rain and two week deep freeze.

Did you try to crank the motor, I would be interested to know if a frozen battery would hold a charge.

Unless the weather warms up really soon for you, you're going to want to get that ice out of there quick. Put a tarp over the boat and trailer to hold the heat in, and then run a salamander heater blowing into/under the tarp. I know you guys don't get it this cold that often, but when the water starts melting during the day, and then freezing again at night, it works it's way into all the little nooks and crannies in your boat and will expand and split welds, rip sheetmetal, etc.

I have heard of putting batteries in the freezer so they would keep their charge for extended periods of storage, but dayum man that is a bit overboard. Hope all works out for ya.

X2 on the salamander. Been doin it fo years and it works good. You def have a hell of a mess though!! Ice refreezes under your ribs and blows the welds.
