new to the forum and mud motors in general. I'm looking at buying a 2006 go devil 35hp surface drive has a little over 100 hours just wonder what I should expect to pay for it? |

Man that's a 11 year old motor. I realize it has just over 100 hours but I wouldn't expect to give more than $3500.. and that maybe generous Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

Its all relative. You could have that 2006 like my 2007 PD that is in fantastic shape. I take care of my stuff and don't tear it up. My Kawasaki too has about 100 hrs on it with a new clutch. OR you can have a 2016 PD EFI with all the bells and whistles that was operated by a f'n retard and put through hell and back and "cosmetically" fixed with a rattle can of krylon. So IMO, I would look at it hard, check the prop out, does the motor smoke, the usual things to check when buying used and don't get caught up in "it's old". |
