Here shortly I will start cutting trails, the entire lake is grown over and it will be a very slow process. Do any of y'all ever worry about over heating when going slow but revving high cutting a trail? If so how long do you run before letting the motor cool back down? |

I usually overheat first and want to cruise to cool down ![]() |

That would be nice, but there isn't much cruising on this lake right now. |

Some folks are just nuts and just dig dig dig. I would say if you have to dig hard for a minute then give it a minute in neautral with a little rpm to cool it off |

I blazed a few trails yesterday myself. There was a little more water but the veggies sure have gotten thick. Looked like in some place the weevils had been at work. |

Talked to the ole dude at Crickets the other day. He said the biology guru's decided to plant grass on top of the salvania causing it to choke, die and sink. It doesn't seem like that is working. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk |

I saw the "nut grass" i call it start growing 2 years ago. That grass is the devil, i really hope that grass wasnt added by man. It is rowdy . I can run salvania no problem, that grass is some tough shit |

That ole dude has been running marina's on Caddo since the early 70's and he shoots pretty straight. It won't be long and we'll be bailing hay in the WMA. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G870A using Tapatalk |

Yeah I remember back in the day, I would sharpen my aluminum prop on my 18hp evinrude so we could make it thru the lilly pads and the moss. Not to mention cutting fishing string pretty good also. There wasn't any of this foreign crap to choke out motors. |
