Welded. I'm sure its a jon boat made for an outboard so make sure you test how well the go-devil pushes it. Dont take the owners word. |

If it is the waterfowler 15, that boat is damn near going to sink in the ass, i had one with a 25hp 2 stroke nissan that ran in the 30s with 2 people, but sudden stops brought water over the back and it wasnt even the low transom you see on some outboard boats. But it was a solid boat, banged many of trees in the timber where im from in arkansas, until i got rid of it and made the conversion to a full mud rig. |

for about 2000 more i can get a 16x60 go devil boat with same engine. that one i rode on and it was great. was trying to save the extra 2000 but it sounds like i should go with the go devil boat that is in excellent condition. the alumacraft is 42 wide and the go devil boat 60 wide some narrow areas but the wider boat seems like a better bet. any other thoughts/opinions? |

I originally put my PD on my Al Waterfowler. Took me two weeks to swap out to a mud hull. First of all it is a modV and secondly I had no hopes of the transom holding up. |

I had a waterfowler 16 that i ran a 25 merc on then tried a 27 pd on it once. Only once. Too much V for a mud motor to work decent on it. Ended up just gettin another rig to hunt out of. I'd go with the go devil boat if you can swing it. |

I have an Alumacraft 1546 which is the same basic boat as the 15ft waterfowler but w/o gun box and split rear seats. I had to use pods with a MB 27 mini (200LB) because of low transom. I like the open layout of boat and it is plenty rugged for what I do. I run mid 20s by myself and 18-19ish with two and hunt load. 3 forget it...12-14 mph barge. Paid 2000 for it new. |
