FB killed MMT. You could log in every 20-30 minutes and there was new posts, now it sometimes goes an entire day without a new post. |

I agree FB is hard on web pages. Here is what I think is weird about that, you are on Facebook as YOU. Your pic is probably right by your name and people know exactly who you are if they want. On the message board format, you have a screen name. You can ask anonymous dumb questions. You can be as obnoxious or as decent as you want to be. Nobody has to know who you are if you are careful. Yet on FB people are four times dumber. It brings out the stupid in everyone. And their good name is right there by it. I don’t want any part of it. |

That is correct that FB has had an impact on forums and certianly MMT. We do still get a lot of traffic here even though. We've had numbers ranging from 29,000 to 47,000 visits in the past few months. Still not too shabby. I have been seeing some old members coming in and that's cool to see. Thanks to everyone who still pops in to MMT. We're still the number one site for mudmotors on the planet! |
