What the best cleaner to use on my alluminum trailer? All kinds of products out there. Looking for something to get the road film, dirt and grime off.

A chemical called Aluminum Brightener. Best chit I've ever used just be careful not to mix it too strong. It's made by a company called Snee Chemical.

Most companys that sell pressure washer/ cleaning supplies have it. I have a local company that makes their own formula of aluma bright in house. Cost me $8.00 for a gallon. Just mix it very weak. If you mix it strong it will streak real bad.

doesn't this stuff actually etch the surface a little bit... like if you were getting ready to paint? is that overkill to use just as a cleaner?

reason I'm asking..... whatever Don uses he's probably going to end up cleaning his trailer with it every time he takes it out.

Russ you ass clown...lol... It seems there are plenty of dudes in here carrying the torch of buying and selling rigs...I am freakin retired. Now if you can hook me up with some of that high dollar clientele you hang with and get me some business we can talk.

I think I am going to just hand wash it with soap and see if I can get it to come clean.

don, go to a big truck place and get that badass soap/degreaser they clean the big rig trailers with. it will clean anything.

alumibrite will turn the trailer white. it's great to use before painting a alum boat, or on spots u have to weld, but it might turn your trailer a color u don't want. if u get sum try it on sumthing else first so u see how it does, cause if u only do sections it will look like crap. it's got muratic acid in it.

good luck.
