 WD40 on exhaust? I remember reading where someone mentioned wiping down and then using ws40 on a new exhaust before running it. Whats the idea behind this? I tried to dig up the thread, but couldn't find it.

Re: WD40 on exhaust? Kinda like seasoning a black iron pot. Adds a layer of protection to it. I spray some on there every few trips. Just coat it down when I get home. These things may be stainless but they can develope some surface rust as will anything else.

Re: WD40 on exhaust? The Liquid Wrench Lubricating Oil (blue can) works better (Thanks BB) it stays on and dosent just evaporate.
