Ive been lookin for a used rig lately and came across something Im interested in except the motor ( a go devil 23 surface drive) has something like 300 hours on it by owner guestimation. I havent checked it out yet but he says it runs like a top and other than routine maintence and a few props hes done nothing to it. Is it something worth seriously considering? Or is 300 hours near the end of the line? I dont run into alot of true mud situations,but I would like a motor just for shallow water and vegetation. What is something like this worth ? I looked around some but havent found many motors with 300 hours for sale Thanks!!

If the motor is all stock 300 hours is not near the end. I have a buddy with an 09 35 GDSD with like 260 hours already. These little motors will run for a long time in stock trim with regular upkeep. I'd say these motors are capable of 800 hours or more.
