I am finally getting her ready for the water. I put some hours on her in the drive way. I did a compression test . between 200 and 210 on 5 checks on each cyl. If you recall I had to rebuild due to a cam failing with just 1 hour on the water. We went with black water 20 thou over pistons, rods and cam. I am running evt roller rockers and springs.I had the flywheel balanced. Heads done by Harahan auto with over sized Manley valves.

It runs smooth to 5000 rpm in the driveway.

I will try to get her wet this week end and report back.

What kind of compression are you getting and what mods have been done.

I was seeing the same when mine ran, LOL.

170/155 on the compression.

Heads are shaved .050 w/5 angle valve job and ported/polished/shimmed.

Stock carb w/ 142-148 jets, stock intake.

BPS crossover.

45cam, stock rockers and pushrods.
