Post breaking in motor
Guys,

How should I properly break-in my motor. I've got a 36 with 6 hours on it. Should I vary the rpms or just run it wide open? I heard you needed to vary the rpms. What does that do? Something about seating the valves or piston or whatever.

Damon,

I cut one strip wide open then on the next pass I went about 3/4 throttle then 1/2 throttle then wide open again. Seemed to work as I've had it for 2 yrs now & it stills runs good.

I do alot of fishing as a matter of fact. That's one of the reasons I got a mudmotor so I could get to some of those hard to reach places.

Dynamite? I'd be scared to use dynamite. My grandaddy had this wooden box with a crank on it. He'd put 2 lines in the water and fish would start floating. Called it a telephone. What does this have to do with breaking in my motor anyway? You kidnapping my thread.
