How come I've never seen custom exhaust or carbs on a long tail?

Haven't looked too hard i imagine? On a serious note, there's guys that have done it, but the increases are minimal due to the nature of the design of a longtail. The gear reduction of a sd makes more use of higher rpms. Although, if i remember correctly there was a member here that had a 30mph modded Briggs 35 longtail a few years back. I don't remember the details though.
