Not sure bro, my 40 has heads, bigger cam, unbaffled voodoo, air intake, and fuel tuner. Empty I run 41, loaded with 3 people, two ice chests, and tools with 13 gallons of gas, I run 37. Boat and motor were built by jeremiah Williams out of Chauvin. Not sure about the difference between missing the 37 and the 40. That would be a good question for will or Marcus, cause that’s not my field. So far I’m super happy with the performance and sure do hope it’s lasts. Before I put the work on it, I put 75 hours on the motor without any issues.

I had bought the 40 originally with the intention of leaving it stock. I guess if I would have known that I was going to mod it, it probably would have came out the same with the 37 in the end like you are saying, just cheaper. Who knows, what’s done is done for me now haha

my 9k$ ac in my house has flooded my attic. had it put in in nov. will worry about the lawnmower engine later. when I can get the water out of my light fixtures and get the mold issues fixed, i'll deal with it.

I called servpro to come help me pull wet insulation out the attic, they never showed up! wtf? lol

had hockey puck looking safety switch in the emergency drain pan. my ac people threw it out onto the attic floor the first time it went off, then disabled it the second time it went off.
there is also another alarm in the emergency drain pan and a third safety swith on the drain like ahead of the p trap.

my problem was all duct work condensating and then wetting the insulation then wetting the wood, then getting into light fixtures/walls/ ceiling tiles.

it's a frickin mess. at least I don't have a gtr, so there is some hope for me! lol

However, you still have a Briggs. Which you just fairly recently made a choice to purchase. Maybe not as much hope as you were thinking [WINKING FACE]
