 35 CDI threw a rod Better off rebuilding it with OS pistons and rods or buying a new short block? If the short block route does anyone have a line on a short block?
Either way the labor is free.

Re: 35 CDI threw a rod Pull it apart and see if the crank is scarred or just the rod broke.. That will determine if you should repair or replace the short block
