Noticed some oil on my block and I'm thinking the gasket may be getting ready to give up the ghost. I know there were several folks trying old/new gaskets that seemed to work better.
I'm thinking that if she does go, that I'll go ahead and put new heads on it.
What's the word on the skreet?

Is it leaking oil around the heads or the crankcase?

I got about 40 hrs. on EVT's new gasket with studs in my block and so far so good.... it looked leaps & bounds better than da shitty Briggs gasket. I got a lot of confidence in it.... if I get 2 or 3 hundered hrs. out of it I'd be happy.... even more would be nice.

Take my advice on this one......

When you replace the case gasket, go ahead and replace the crank seal and the oring on da plate that sits under the oil pump.

Don't ask me how I know.... I got the briggs parts #'s if you need em.
