i got a 31 gatortail gtr and have the out of water wot set at 3950. when im in the water a can only seems to get to about 3550 max at 25-25.5 mph. I am running a big blade prop on a 20x44 500lb boat. what do yall recommend? im thinking that props to big to get up any rpm's. |

You have the govenor set too low and are leaving RPM on the table. Set the OOW govenor adjustment to ~4200 and go find out how much speed you were missing out on. |
