Yeah it CAN be done, but is gonna require some swapping a new short shaft lower unit and a short shaft motor mount. May be able to find someone on here who is wanting a long shaft setup and do some trading. |

lower units are da same, just a few parts in between are different. For da last 3 or 4 yrs the additional spacer for da tower housing has been welded in place..... you'd have to take a cuttin' torch to it. You'd be better off making ur transom fit it like it is. |
