0.060 and stock rods for me, but I'm running stock valves and rockers.

Just run your stock push rods

You just gave yourself an additional .060 in lift.

River please explain that to me.

The cam lobe determines the lift. If you can adjust the rocker for Clarence every thing else stays static. The angles on the rockers change, but not the stroke. The rate of lift might change, if any thing I think you might get less duration and a change of timing of the lift. I am not good enough at trig. to know far sure. I can't see it being much. I can see it causing clearance problems with valve guide seals. I did have problems with my evt rockers pushing the spring caps close to the guide seals. when I machined the spring caps for clearance the rockers got a lot quieter.

The question is " Does the steeper angle caused buy a longer rod ,change the duration or timing of valve lift or the amount of valve lift.

It can be proved with high school math, but that was 35 years ago.
I will defer to a younger clear mind to do it.

Its like saying The connecting rod is a 1/8" longer so it is stroker.
Wrong! The length of the rod determines where the piston runs in the cyl.
The only way to increase stroke is by re welding and grinding crank journals to increase the DIA. of its swing.

None of this is meant to start a pissing contest. I am just trying to get it clear in my mind.

Get the longer rods and just cut your pistons on in a lathe. It takes about 5 min. Thats is what I did and until a stock vavle come apart and ruined one piston it was a monster.
