Moved my choke to a hole I drilled on the other side of keybox, then ran the cable through that hole, no real reason why. Black taped the cable to the tiller tube, also taped up the end of the tiller so the core didn't spin. Put some tape on the cable by the valve cover to keep it from gettin chewed up.

If you are close to EVT you can go over and look at my setup. It is almost exactly like RC. What i did to stop the factory SS shaft from moving is drill a 5/16" or so hole into the factory stop block and placed it over the factory pin stop.

This picture sucks but its the first one i found on the web. Hope this helps.

BB whay kind of setup you got going over your way?

If I coulda found my bigger holesaw I woulda used it. Figured more air flow couldn't hurt anything. No pilot holes in the block either.

RC, Just curious.... Isn't your choke on the Mikuni carb? Wondering why you re-attached the old choke on the other side of the key box?

I like that set up. Is throttle response better? Where do you find the kit?

Thanks.

-I hadn't got around to removing that old choke puller yet.

-Not really a kit, just a drag specialties twist grip for an old style harley/mikuni setup. Custom length cable from motion-pro in CA somewhere (52", like $40 or so).
