 36 briggs problem
i have been running regular unleaded in my boat since ive had it. i decided to put some premium in it on friday and some seafoam. now, when running wide open after a little bit my motor chokes down and dies and the bulb in the fuel line is sucked in flat like it cant get fuel. vent on the tank is open and nothing has changed except for putting premium in and some seafoam. ideas???

 Re: 36 briggs problem
You need to run regular unleaded IMO. Not sure if this is your problem, but a suggestion for the future.

 Re: 36 briggs problem
its not the fuel, check all of your fuel connections, especially if you have quick connects.

 Re: 36 Briggs problem
Your water filter may be full and have you locked up. If you have a modded motor with decked heads and timing advance you should run 93 octane.

 Re: 36 briggs problem
He means fuel water separater/fuel filter. I had the same thing happen. Just replaced the filter and all was good.

 Re: 36 briggs problem
It may be the filter on the bottom of the pickup line in the gas tank.

 Re: 36 briggs problem
Is there any chance the seafoam loosened something in his tank, lines, or the carb itself? It is a cleaner. Maybe it worked too dayum good?
It just makes me wonder. Everything was Ok and now new gas and a shot of treatment. Nothing else changed he is saying.
