 methanol injection any body played with methanol , or methanol and water, or water injection.
I talked to a buddy who has done real well with go-carts, He feels it helps the motors last longer by reducing combustion chamber temps and does produce a little more power to boot.

Re: methanol injection I can do low pressure real cheap. a Harley Thunder jet, a small feed vessel with a fuel return mounted on the motor, and larger tank with low pressure fuel pump to transfer from a larger tank stored in the boat.
Kits for auto turbo market sell for 300 bucks.

Re: methanol injection Used to work in a plant that had a methanol feed...
Used it for a free replacement to octane booster by mixing directly into 93 octane fuel...
A thermos full - into 5 gallons of gas (3 to 5 percent) sent the idle from 800 rpm
up to 1500 rpm on a V8 and seemed to add about 10 percent more
power across the entire powerband... It also de-carboned the engine
as evidenced by the exaust under 4 barrel drops...
If mixed excessively it will 2 phase on you and you risk pickup of
pure methanol from the tank...

Re: methanol injection Isn't it just windshield washer fluid? Used a lot by turbo deisels . Also used by fighter pilots alongtime ago?
