Post subject:  Kill Switch Doesn't Work!

I have a 24 HP Honda Beavertail LT motor. My kill switch doesn't work, but all of the wires seem to be connected properly. The motor runs, but when I disconnect the kill switch, it keeps on running. Any thoughts on where to begin trouble shooting the issue?

if u have an ohm meter check continuity across da switch to make sure it's good, if it's good ur wiring ain't right.

The kill switch has normally open contacts I. It. If you remove the wires, nothing is going to happen. I had one go out on my last motor, it was less than a year old. If you want to make sure your wiring is right just short the wires together. That would simulate you operating the switch and should kill the engine
