 Mod question for the FE's
Got a question. What do you think about putting a mikuni on a motor before the warranty is up. The carb voids the warranty right? I may want to put the mikuni on but don't want engine trouble around ten hour mark and have to pay for it. Trying to get some thoughts on the decision.

Re: Mod question for the FE's
I'm not sure I understand da question...
yes, da carb prolly voids da warranty...
no, da Mikuni itself prolly won't cause u to need ur warranty...
u could just slap da stock gear back on if u needed warranty work done......
whether or not u wanna take those risks/actions is not a question anyone on here can answer for u....

Re: Mod question for the FE's
As my original post goes I was asking what you guys would do not what I would do.
I think by your responses you would run the mikuni and skip the warranty.

EVT all the way. mine is bone stock except for the EVT. some guys have less hours on their boat than mine and they are already having to replace stock mufflers. Ive talked to the guys at EVT and they rank right up there with Kyle and KP in customer service.

What do ya think ya got with the bone stock setup. I plan on doing the same thing, stocker with carb and exhaust.

Re: Mod question for the FE's
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1723Im running pretty good with just the evt. didnt do anything else except that. Like i said i only put the exhaust on it so i wouldnt have to replace it every year after running the salt. (and the sound)
