battery is good
trim works, and i can hear clutch engage and disengage when the ign is on and the gear switch is flipped. turn key to start motor and nothing happens

jump positive and negative on starter soilonoid with screwdriver and motor spins

out of ideas, think maybe the ignition is bad?

loose wire on key switch.

Post subject:  Re: motor wont start

dont think the flywheel key is sheared because if u jump it at the soilonoid itll run.
checked all fuses and connectins- they look fine.
from what i see wiring looks great
ign switch could be out, but i doubt it because when u turn it half way u can work trim and clutch
it does have gas, but even if it didnt it would still spin over
kill switch is on
dont know how to bypass the rev limitor to eliminate that as the problem

I think you cut a green wire

Author:  forever draggin [ Tue Aug 04, 2009 7:16 pm ]
Post subject:  Re: motor wont start

i stated that when jumping the soilonoid that the motor runs, it doesnt run, it just spins but acts like it doest get either fuel or fire

no fouled plugs huh??

Post subject:  Re: motor wont start

Either the wires came loose on the back of the kill switch or ignition, but I'm willing to bet rev limiter. I think just cutting the green will work it, but I would cut them all. Bet it starts up then.
