When you tear it down to replace the gasket you need to stud
the base bolts & use lock nuts thay hold better
the studs you will need are 8mm x 1.25 x 70mm
seems to work well in the testing we have done :D

If you want to just take the bolts out one at a time and put new lock-tight on them. did this on all the bolt i could get to (without taking anythign off) and it held for 5 hours this weekend. Im going to take the pipe off today and get that one.

DO NOT DO THIS MORE THAN A FEW TIME YOU WILL STRIP OUT THE THREADS...then you will have to stud it like Silk said.

Silk what you charge to stud a 36 pd out?

Later

I've run a case gasket leak all season and just watched the level. Run about 20 hrs and it hasn't gone down much. I'll fix it when I get around to it in the off season. 8-)
