I have heard the term LIFETIME WARRANTY for as long as salad spinners, shamwow's, pocket fishermen, and now mud motor exhausts have been sold to consumers. If you get a LIFETIME WARRANTY make sure it is in WRITTING. Also make sure you read all of the specifications attatched to the WARRANTY.

I for one am not opposed to paying a man or woman for a quality product at a fair price.
I do expect the product to exhibit; quality workmanship, quality materials, and engineering to support the product claims. I will research to gain knowledge to support any claims that the manufactor presents. The internet is a wealth of information and research. In the end I take responsibility for the purchase I have made. I will expect the seller/manufactor of the product to stand by the product for a reasonable amount of time. What is a LIFETIME WARRANTY and what is your expectation of a LIFETIME?
This is not a Rant. :| JUST MY .02.

Good to hear about your exhaust. I have had EVT do stage 1 heads for my 35 van. I believe Silk did a good job and I paid him a fair price. I also believe he will stand behind his work. Sorry for my confusion, but I really don't understand a LIFETIME WARRANTY for any exhaust. This is being discussed on MMT site from time to time and I have not seen anything official about it. I know this may seem a controversial question, but it is being brought up as an important selling/buying point. Does it mean full replacement for original owners lifetime? Is the WARRANTY transferable to other buyers of the motor? If a loose piece of slag is in the exhaust and it enters the cylinder and causes damage to the head/cylinder is the damage under warranty? Again I ask the question, "is this LIFETIME WARRANTY in writing," and is it through EVT? I am just trying to get an answer to a simple question.

After reseaching different exhaust for several months I came to the conclusion that Gliders Marshmellow Exhaust was the one I wanted. I have had mine for several weeks now and am very pleased. The sound is GREAT not Loud, but nice and mellow. It does not have a LIFETIME WARRANTY, but it is made out of Stainless Steel and has very good workmanship. Glider assured me that he would stand behind his workmanship, and I was satisfied with his honesty. Sorry to all for the hijack of this thread it should be about Marshmellow Exhaust for which I am very pleased with.
