the 45mb is a done over 35. We put 6 guys in my boat and still made 28. "yes that was gps" . It took a min to get 28 but it did it in about 1ft of water. |

BJ I tried to find out some specs on that 45..Then engine looks larger, did they make bores larger? what is different from the 36 to the 45...Information please????? Think of the options you have with a larger engine!!!! |

So far as I've seen the biggest V-twin is the 40 Kohler. That mb 45 is modded. |

They just call it a 45mag because they say its 45 horse power. its pretty much a stage one. I run the carb setup that they use ( the bps adapter ). |

The 7000 is their big dog. The 45 is like what I have. I dont know if they use a cam though. Get a stage 1 from coondik, smooth out your bottom and your gonna run good[/quote] I stand corrected. The 45 does intenal mods. If I were you id stick with a stage 1 for now. |

The 45 MB has a reworked stock carb,their cam,and after market muffler. The 5000 adds a mikuni and intake, the 6000 has all of the above but twin mikuni and duals. The 7000 has head work and bigger mikuni's. I don't know if there are other internal changes . The website gives details. JD |

You can do the same mods to any make of mud motor with parts available from Extreme V-Twins or Gecker. Mudbuddy will sell you a brand new unit in the crate that their affiliate has modified. There is a convenience factor there, but it's not the only brand option for a hot motor. From what I read here, Gatortail can ship out brand new modded motors as well. Cash flow permitting, I am going to mod my Prodrive with bolt-on stuff. Not ready to crack the case. A lot can be achieved with carb, headwork and exhaust. |
