I've had one for 5 yrs. now. I run it on a 15x42 duracraft. It has been an extremely reliable rig during that time. I have made a couple of modifications to it. I added extra reinforcement to the bottom skeg. I think the original design is too weak, causing the skeg to bend if you get into some hard bottoms. I changed the spark advance module last year. Kohler came out with an upgrade and my repairman changed it for me. I change the oil every 30 hours (synthetic) and the plugs twice a year. I have been pleased. I am thinking about taking the motor off and mounting to a surface drive for for next season. I run about 19-20mph with two people and new prop. Hope the info helps.
