For those of you that have had experience with the Filter Dry Chargers aka Wraps or rain covers on your Mikunis or Replacing the stock filter where it is completely exposed.

How well do they protect from rain and do they restrict performance?

Not to hijack but I'd be interested to see how instead of an expensive protection device from rain how well panty hose works... We've been using that off-roading for years to prevent water being propelled into air filter housing etc.

Well if it works you can't argue with it. You could probably treat it with Scotchguard if you had to.

Anybody else? Is it worth the trouble/expense for the wrap and a tradeoff in performance?

I might just fab up a raincover like Poker 1.
