These Hondas do best between 3600-4000. I've ran mine up to 43-4400 before with a badly worn prop with no issues. Lots of the guys in the karting world use these engines and spin them to 5500 and don't bat an eye. I've had mine over 6K twice, once for several seconds but it was a total accident lol |

I have mine set at 4200 out of water. Runs around 3700 with a load. |

I try to keep mine below 4400, it'll turn more though. These Hondas are tough |
