I think i know the answer to this, but i'll throw it out for the FEs. To start off, the fuel has seafoam added, but has been sitting for about 1.5 months. Went to my cabin last weekend to bring the boat back to Tulsa...decided to take the girls out for some bream fishing on DeQueen Lake (AR). The motor surged (out of water rpms), rough idle, occasional backfire/miss. Should i just ditch the gas (siphon out and use in Bronco) and start all over, or could it be something else. My gut feeling is that it is the fuel (condensation). Woody |

Could be condensation bud. With the 10% ethanol mix it increases gas' tendency to collect moisture. Add more seafoam or run it in the truck IMO. |

Just got off the phone with the dealer I bought my motor from to ask a question. I won't even throw out the # of motors he is working on because its hard to believe and he says the majority of them is fuel/ethanol related. That crap is like a plague. |
