Guys I have a battery that was new in march. I've had to use my spare 3 times. I think the motor is draining it somehow. I have my nav lights, bildge, and led's I hardly ever turn on hooked up to the same battery. I have an on and off switch for the battery and I turn it off when I'm not running. But for some reason I'll get a trip, maybe two before the battery dies. I don't think it's a bad battery bc it started to drain my spare, and I can't figure out why. Thanks for any input |

You could install a master switch by the battery. That would be the easiest, otherwise you'll have to start trouble shooting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Got a Volt meter? if so check voltage on battery, then start motor idle up to around 2000 rpms, voltage should be at least 13.5 vdc (at least higher than before starting). If you have a disconnect switch, with switch off, measure battery voltage, turn on switch(all accessories off) measure voltage. If nothing is "powering up or pulling on batterie, voltage should be almost the same. If you see a voltage drop something is draining on battery. I gonna say either the battery is bad or your motor is not charging the battery. BTW way what motor ? |

Use a bolt meter as stated before. Turn your master switch off and see if it's drawing power. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Unplug your clutch wires from the harness at the motor. Give it a few days and go back and check the battery......just speaking from experience.....right before the clutch wouldn't disengage. |
