Needing some help with a trim issue. This past weekend my trim went out. Haven't had any issues of it leading up to going out. Bought a new switch hoping that would fix but it didn't. I have done a search and found a few other posts but didn't see any many answers. Should I just replace trim motor? |

Is there a way to just test the motor on the trim unit itself? |

Im getting power to switch so thats not it then I cut wires at the trim motor and test straight to battery and not getting any response either way. Called GT and they are waiting for a new batch to come in of trim motors. Anybody know the part number for the trim motor or know where else may carry them? |

they have that trim custom for them. if you contact the company that makes them, you'll have to provide the specs, as they won't sell you just the part number that's stamped on it. it's gt specific, even though it's not a special motor. #CFFITR #TheGhostBoat #whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |

Of course not, that would be to easy. Anyways. Thanks for the responses and BIG THANKS to Maxxis85 with Bayou Surface Drive to take the time and walk me through this process of elimination. |
