I know there is some other threads on this topic but no tips, but blew a clutch on my 36, prodrive sent me a new one and everything went smoothly but know we can’t get the old clutch off. Worked on it for about an hour or two, and finally gave up and soaked it in some lubricant hoping we can get it off in morning. Any tricks to get these things off? Thanks! |

cut wedges of wood and put from opposite sides. Tap wood with hammer. Tap one side, then other. Repeat over and over. Don't get stupid with it. The wood prevents any scaring of block and or shaft. Before installing new clutch, clean drive shaft with scotch bright and coat with nickle ease to prevent it from sticking again. |
