Hey guys, 2012 CDI 35. Will C mods on a short block. Mikuni carb. Cam, rods springs etc. high rev coils. The whole shabang. Been running like a top. Changed fluids, and now I’ve got sporadic idle. Checks valve lash, intake was off a bit. Everything set back to .005. I’ve tinkered with carb. Throttle is lagging, sounds like it’s starving/sucking for air, then it jumps up and runs perfect. Still pushing full 33mph. Let off throttle, idle is high after running WOT then it settles in. 10-15 seconds it will idle up just slightly and fall back. Can’t figure this one out. I guess it could be a gasket somewhere. Places to start? Any help is appreciate. Will, if you see this feel free to call ![]() Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Check your intake adapter. The rubber that mounts the carb to the intake can crack over time and cause issues. |

Also check where the intake bolts to the egine. Sounds like an intake leak somewhere. #CFFITR #mudmotor>physics |

Also check the black vacuum plugs on that carb for cracks Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk |

I’ve discovered a gasket tear upon removing the carb. Also realized threads have possibly vibrated a screw out or the threads are stripped. Looks like a rethread is necessary. Yikes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I agree with these guys. Especially the gaskets between intake and heads |
